SUNDAY STUDIO: MIX IT UP

Spend the afternoon at MOCA with friends and family exploring new combinations and changing contexts through film, art in the galleries, and an all-ages, hands-on project. Inspired by the work of artist Barbara Kruger, investigate how pictures change meaning when they are re-combined with other pictures, text, or blank space. Enjoy food truck eats and music while you work, and explore our special area for toddlers with your little ones. A short film program by acclaimed composer William Basinksi in collaboration with artist and filmmaker James Elaine, Melancholia (1997-2007), will screen throughout Sunday Studio.
