MOCA Fund for Exhibitions

The MOCA Fund for Exhibitions provides annual support for MOCA’s innovative curatorial program. Gifts to the MOCA Fund for Exhibitions directly support the presentation of exhibitions and related public programs at MOCA’s two Los Angeles sites, featuring installations from MOCA’s Permanent Collection, thematic group shows, and solo-shows by leading contemporary artists.

For more information on how to become a MOCA Fund for Exhibitions donor, please contact Emily Cregg, Associate Director of Individual Giving (213/621-1744 or ecregg@moca.org).

Acquisitions Groups

MOCA has three acquisitions groups, Acquisition and Collection Committee, Emerging Art Fund, and Drawings and Photography Committee, for those individuals interested in taking an active role in fostering the growth of our world-renowned permanent collection.  Members make a lasting impact on MOCA’s legacy by raising funds for acquisitions while hearing from the director and curators about artists that are a priority for presentation and collection by the museum. In addition to acquisitions meetings, programs include studio and private collection visits, and annual acquisitions groups celebration with MOCA’s executive leadership. In order to be eligible to participate, all members also support MOCA as Leadership Circle donors.

For more information on the different ways to get involved through MOCA’s acquisitions groups, please contact Emily Cregg, Associate Director of Individual Giving (213/621-1744 or ecregg@moca.org).

Projects Council

Founded in 1986, The MOCA Projects Council is a fundraising support council at the Museum of Contemporary Art. All funds raised through membership dues and other fundraising activities support MOCA’s education programs, including Contemporary Art Start, MOCA Teen Program and Sunday Studio. The council also helps to underwrite one significant exhibition at MOCA each year. Council members are required to maintain a MOCA membership at the MOCA Associate level ($375) or higher and enjoy all the benefits of membership at this level.

For more information or to join the Projects Council, please contact Emily Cregg, Associate Director of Individual Giving (213/621-1744 or ecregg@moca.org).

Program Support

Supporting MOCA’s award-winning exhibitions and educational programs offers individuals opportunities to get more deeply involved in furthering the museum’s mission to present and share the artists of our time with the widest possible audiences here in Los Angeles and beyond.

For more information on opportunities to support MOCA’s programs, please contact Emily Cregg, Associate Director of Individual Giving (213/621-1744 or ecregg@moca.org).

Supporting MOCA in your Will

Consider supporting MOCA through a planned gift, which leaves a lasting legacy for you, the museum and the communities we serve for generations to come. Planned gifts offer numerous tax benefits and it’s as simple as including MOCA in your estate planning through bequests in your will or living trust, charitable annuities, or designating the museum as a beneficiary of retirement plan or life insurance policy.

For more information on planned giving at MOCA, please contact Emily Cregg, Associate Director of Individual Giving (213/621-1744 or ecregg@moca.org).
