The New Wave: Film Independent in Partnership with KCRW and MOCA

All Ages

Produced by Film Independent and presented in partnership with KCRW and official host MOCA, The New Wave is a showcase of films, conversations, and performances from cultural change makers. Storytellers, interdisciplinary artists, and community and industry leaders come together at MOCA Grand Avenue and The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA to share bold and dynamic visions of inclusion, independence, and innovation over the three-day festival.

The New Wave is a free program that is open to the public, consisting of several different types of events, including keynotes; conversations; panel discussions; and Film Independent Spotlight programming, all of which will be announced on filmindependent.org.

For The New Wave program, MOCA will offer free admission during the three-day festival at both locations. The New Wave is FREE and open to the public. Advance tickets will be available exclusively to Film Independent, KCRW, and MOCA members beginning Friday, October 4. Ticket access opens to the general public on Friday, October 11.
